GoodSmile Factory have been making a killing with their Lucky Star license, and their Nendoroid line. This Winter Comiket (C75) they had a special offering at their booth in the industry section. The industry halls were absolutely packed this year, and I managed only to brave the 2 hour wait for the Kyoto Animation Shop booth.

It’s been a good long while, but my purchases from Comic Market 75 (Winter 2008) have finally arrived! I posted 8 kilos of books, CDs & DVDs back from Japan because I didn’t want to lug them around for another week and it should have only taken 1-2 weeks (I sent them by SAL).
After 2 weeks I was checking the mailbox daily for a card telling me to pick up the parcel from the post office, and here we were A FULL MONTH after sending them and nothing. Australia Post’s mail contractors suck – apparently they decided they can’t be bothered getting out of the van and even putting a card in my box. Good thing I called the post office today to see if it had arrived.
I got new Studio Kimigabuchi works, the Clockwork Machina book (hey Will – can I get moneys for the constant plugging?), the amazing Bell’s Brand books (hopefully Izumi will agree to an interview) as well as the Lucky Star card game (released at C75 by Kyoto Animation, and which required 2 hours wait in line).
In the coming weeks I’ll be posting some introductions to some very cool circles and one or two other cool things I picked up.
After dinner tonight I carefully unpacked my purchases from my recent Japan trip, and added them to “The Collection”. More photos after the jump.
